Gilded bronze amitayus seated in dhyanasana on a platform raised by a series of lotus branches and leaves. The amitayus is dressed in an ample robe, with an elaborate headdress adorned with rich jewels. A detachable mandorla of flames at the back

Cast bronze with some of the copper ornamentation embossed. A cyclic dating inscribed on the front of the base, year ‘gengyin’ of the Qianlong period, corresponding to 1770.
