A fine bowl in spinach jade, finely decorated with two incised bands of stylized dragons and phoenixes around the body, separated by a motif of small pearls in half-relief echoing the decorations of archaic jades. The flat handles are carved with facing dragons and taotie masks. Openwork wooden lid transforms the object into an incense burner. A four-character mark under the base ‘Gong Bao Shi Chuan’
