Carved ivory tusk decorated with female musicians and children on a wooden base.
Apocryphal Da Ming Cheng Hua four-character signature under the base.
Slight accident and missing character.

Specimen made from an elephant spp (Elephantidae spp) tusk. Complies with the AM of May 2017 resuming the commercial use of ivory specimens of Elephantidae spp. Specimen prior to June 1, 1947 allowing commercial use in the EU.

If you are leaving the EU, you will need to obtain a CITES re-export document, at the expense of the future buyer. Such a document is not issued automatically.
