An important pair of rectangular gilded bronze and cloisonné enamel jardinières, the gilded bronze rim entirely chased with foliage and flowers encloses medallions featuring turquoise and coral inlays in the form of dragons chasing the stylized sacred pearl, with a Shou sign of longevity in the center of the medallion. The necks are adorned with a frieze of grecques.
Each of the jardinières rests on a rectangular base with four cloisonné enamel feet, with a frieze of stylized lotus petals at the top.
