An important pair of wall-mounted porcelain vases in the form of scrolls, each tied with a gold-embellished ribbon and fastened with an elegant bow at the front, they feature a famille rose décor of seasonal flowers and plum trees evolving around a rock. On the top and bottom, a frieze of honeycomb mesh in turquoise tones, outlined with rubies. On the reverse, the honeycomb frieze at the top and bottom, a hook for wall mounting and gold highlights in the shape of flowers hiding the firing beads.

On one, the central part of the clamp is missing, chipping, overall wear, a later addition of paint above the decorative knot. The other has a through crack running from the collar to the decorative knot, and a star-shaped chip on the collar.
