Large embroidered red silk hanging depicting the eight immortals, the three stars of the Tao and a pagoda on the waves, flown over by cranes, surrounded by peonies and longevity peaches.
In the center, a text embroidered with gold thread describes Mr. Chen’s sixtieth birthday.
It was given by a Fujian official, Mr. Shen Wei Qiao in 1823, corresponding to the third year of Daoguang.
