It shows Laozi riding a water buffalo towards the West, with a child servant to his left, all on a large pedestal with rocky outcrops. A naturalistic, plastic rendering of the whole, including the details below the beast. Figure of Laozi forming a removable lid revealing a cavity for incense to be burned.
